TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B Project Training Held at Bartın University Vocational School

The “TÜBİTAK 2209-A/B University Students Research Projects Information and Support Training,” organized by the Project Technology Office of Bartın University, was held on October 22, 2025, at 2:00 p.m. with strong participation from students of Bartın Vocational School.

The training was delivered by Lecturer Dr. Erkan Aksoy from the Project Technology Office. In his presentation, Dr. Aksoy provided comprehensive information on the Scientific and Technological Research Council of Türkiye (TÜBİTAK) 2209-A University Students Research Projects and 2209-B Industry-Oriented Research Projects programs. The entire process—from developing project ideas to application requirements, evaluation criteria, and project writing techniques—was addressed with a quality-oriented approach. The training aimed to strengthen students’ research culture and enhance their ability to produce innovative, applicable, and sustainable projects.

The event was also attended by the Director of Bartın Vocational School, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Arslan, along with vice directors and academic staff, who supported the students. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Arslan emphasized that guiding students toward TÜBİTAK projects is of great importance in terms of the university’s quality assurance system, continuous improvement approach, and student-centered education vision.

It was stated that efforts to develop a student project culture at Bartın Vocational School, increase participation in the research ecosystem, and improve success rates in TÜBİTAK applications will continue to grow in the coming period.
