A delegation of 33 students from the Sea and Port Management and Marina and Yacht Management programs under the Department of Transportation Services, as well as the Shipbuilding Program of the Department of Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies at Bartın University, participated in the 27th National Maritime Students Summit held on Sunday, December 21, 2025, at the Congress Center of Yıldız Technical University.

Organized by the Seafarer Students Association (DÖDER), the summit—one of the largest student events in Türkiye—aimed to raise awareness about maritime culture, prepare students for professional life, and strengthen collaboration among maritime students from different universities.

During the event, our students attended three separate panels, gaining valuable insights from leading representatives of the maritime industry. Between sessions, they had the opportunity to engage in one-on-one discussions with industry professionals. They also met peers from other universities, expanding their professional networks.

The summit made significant contributions by enabling our students to closely follow current dynamics and global strategies in the maritime sector.
