Orientation Training Provided for New Academic Staff

An orientation training program was organized for newly appointed academic staff at Bartın University Bartın Vocational School. Within the scope of the training, faculty members who recently joined the newly established Artificial Intelligence Operator Program and the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Program were informed about the institutional structure, as well as academic and administrative processes.

The orientation was attended by Lecturer Celal Demir and Lecturer Esin Oruç from the Artificial Intelligence Operator Program, and Lecturer Dr. Nurgün Gencel from the Robotics and Artificial Intelligence Program.

The training presentation was delivered by the Vice Directors of Bartın Vocational School, Dr. Perihan Karaköse and Lecturer Dr. Nazlı İlke Eken Türer. The presentation covered the institutional structure of the vocational school, educational processes, quality assurance practices, and the roles and responsibilities of academic staff.

Such training programs organized by Bartın Vocational School aim to facilitate the rapid adaptation of newly appointed academic staff to the institution, ensure their effective integration into work processes, and strengthen their sense of institutional belonging.

The orientation training is also considered an important practice in terms of quality assurance and accreditation processes in higher education. Through such activities, aligned with institutional policies that ensure the efficient use of human resources, the integration of academic staff into institutional processes is actively supported.
