MARINEFEST'24 Maritime Festival was organized.

On May 29, 2024, between 12:00 and 16:30, students of the Maritime Club of the Transportation Services Department, along with the club's academic advisors Instructor Hidayet YASA and Instructor İrem BEBEK, organized MARINEFEST'24 Maritime Festival as the end-of-year event for the 2023-2024 academic year. The festival aimed to allow students to release their accumulated energy throughout the year and to create pleasant memories for both graduating students and current ones bidding farewell to the school.

The festival was attended by several distinguished guests including Eda SEL, the District Governor of Kurucaşile, Uğur GÜNEŞ, the Mayor of Kurucaşile, Assoc. Prof. Ayşe GENÇ LERMİ, the Director of the Vocational School, Haydar GÖKÇE, the Port Manager of Amasra, district administrative and civil authorities, academic and administrative staff of Bartın Vocational School, academic advisor Dr. Assistant Professor Sevim Handan YILMAZ from Bartın University Nature Sports Club, and students from the Faculty of Sports Sciences. Students from the Transportation Services Department, Motor Vehicles and Transportation Technologies Department, and Tourism and Travel Services Department also participated.

During the festival program, various activities such as beach volleyball, table tennis, tug-of-war, precision throwing, canoeing, and limbo competitions were organized, providing colorful moments for both participants and spectators. A music group consisting of Physical Education and Sports Department students also performed a mini concert during and after the competitions.

At the end of the festival, the winners of the competitions were awarded prizes presented by Uğur GÜNEŞ, the Mayor of Kurucaşile, and Assoc. Prof. Ayşe GENÇ LERMİ, the Director of the Vocational School. In addition to their awards, the winning students also received handmade paracord bracelets and keychains crafted by club members as souvenirs from the festival.
