Little Hearts Are Preparing for a Safe Tomorrow

Students of Bartın University Bartın Vocational School Public Relations and Promotion Program came together with Bartın Gazi Middle School students as part of the "Heroes Among Us: Conscious Children, Safe Tomorrows" project and provided them with vital information on security and aid. The project aims to provide children with basic information on security, emergencies and aid mechanisms and to be able to exhibit correct behaviors in such situations.

As part of the event, public relations students conducted various informational activities at Gazi Middle School. Students were provided with detailed information on when to call the 112 Emergency Helpline, the duties of security units and who they can ask for help when they need it. Children were able to put theoretical knowledge into practice and become aware of possible emergencies through interactive presentations and sample scenarios.
The long-term goal of the project is to contribute to the development of a more conscious, responsible and secure generation. In this context, raising children's awareness of security and assistance issues at an early age will enable them to be more prepared for possible risks they may encounter in the future.

While Bartın University Vocational School Public Relations and Promotion Program students were appreciated for their dedication and sensitivity to the project, Bartın Gazi Middle School Principal Kamil Akgöz, class teachers and students also expressed their satisfaction with this meaningful event. Project advisor Dr. Lecturer Özkan Avcı stated that such social benefit-oriented activities will continue and that they will continue to contribute to the awareness of young generations.

The "Heroes Are Among Us: Conscious Children, Safe Tomorrows" project was an important indicator that Bartın University has made a name for itself not only in the academic field but also with its social responsibility projects.
