Emphasizing that trainings for emotional intelligence are also very important in the personal development of the individual, Öztürk said that emotional intelligence courses should be included in the education curriculum starting from primary school.
Stating that high emotional intelligence improves empathy, Öztürk said, “The thing that distinguishes leaders from others is their emotional intelligence level. Businesses today have a growing graph of mobbing cases. Emotional intelligence of managers is of great importance in the fight against mobbing. For this reason, emotional intelligence should be measured in the recruitment of human resources.
