Disaster Awareness Training Delivered to Students within the Scope of “Disaster-Ready University”
Within the scope of the “Disaster-Ready University” initiative carried out by Bartın University Vocational School, a training activity was organized to strengthen disaster awareness across the university.
In this context, a disaster awareness training program was conducted for Bartın Vocational School students in cooperation with the Disaster and Emergency Management Authority (AFAD) Bartın Provincial Directorate.
During the training, AFAD instructors provided comprehensive information on preparedness measures to be taken before a disaster, appropriate behaviors during a disaster, and the processes to be followed after a disaster.
The training aimed to increase students’ level of awareness regarding disasters and to develop their ability to respond correctly and effectively in possible emergency situations.
