Digital Media Literacy Training Given Within the Scope of TÜBİTAK Science Talks

Within the scope of TÜBİTAK Science Talks, "Digital Media Literacy" training was given by Public Relations and Promotion Program Faculty Member Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan AVCI on April 28, 2025 at Ankara Şehit Aytekin Kuru Anatolian High School and Ankara Anıttepe Anatolian High School.

In the said events, students were informed about the effects of digital media, information pollution, perception management and disinformation, online security and responsible digital citizenship. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Özkan AVCI, who also answered the questions of the students, stated that digital media literacy is of vital importance not only for accessing information, but also for developing critical thinking skills and making informed decisions.
