Compost Making Workshop Event Held for Elementary School Students

As part of the "Learning by Living" Social Responsibility Project coordinated with the Bartın Provincial Directorate of National Education, a workshop titled "From Waste to Production, From Production to Smiles" was organized for elementary school students at Bartın Ağdacı Primary School. The event, conducted by Prof. Dr. Ayşe GENÇ LERMİ (Organic Agriculture faculty member) and our university's Green Collars Club, focused on environmental awareness and compost production.

During the workshop, participants learned:

  • Plant waste is not garbage but a valuable resource

  • The importance of transforming organic waste into nutrient-rich fertilizer

  • Step-by-step compost production methods (with hands-on demonstrations)

The event concluded with a commemorative photo, capturing the students' enthusiastic participation.

  • Cultural Bridges Are Being Built with the "Let's Get to Know Our Brotherly Country South Korea and the Korean Language" Project

  • Certificate of Achievement Presented to Our Vocational School Student

  • Design Department Student Exhibition Opened

  • Student-Participated Vocational School Council Feedback Meeting Held
