Bartın Vocational School Students Informed on Occupational Health and Safety
Bartın Vocational School continues to raise awareness among its students on fundamental occupational health and safety issues while preparing them for professional life. In this context, on April 29, 2025, students from the Public Relations and Publicity Program, and on April 30, 2025, students from the Computer Programming and Organic Agriculture Programs received Basic Occupational Health and Safety Training.
The training sessions were delivered by Occupational Health and Safety Specialist Işıl ERGİNYÜREK from the Bartın Provincial Directorate of National Education. The students were provided with detailed information on establishing safe working environments and the measures that need to be taken against potential workplace accidents and occupational diseases.
With the participation of students from various disciplines such as Public Relations and Publicity, Computer Programming, and Organic Agriculture, the training sessions contributed to fostering an awareness of occupational health and safety, which holds critical importance across all sectors. In addition to theoretical knowledge, students also had the opportunity to reinforce what they learned through practical applications.
Prof. Dr. Ayşe GENÇ LERMİ, Director of Bartın Vocational School, stated that such training programs would continue to be organized to ensure that students can work safely and healthily in their future careers.
