Bartın Vocational School Advisory Board Meeting Held

Bartın University (BARÜ) Bartın Vocational School held its “Advisory Board Meeting” on December 25, 2025, at 3:00 p.m. in an online format, aiming to enhance educational quality and strengthen ties with the industry.

Chaired by the Director, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Arslan, the meeting was attended by department heads, administrative staff, and representatives of external stakeholders. The session focused on university–industry collaboration in a digital environment, where strategic plans and future visions were shared.

During the meeting, Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Arslan informed board members about the recent administrative changes within the vocational school. Evaluations were also made regarding technological transformation in education and academic developments, along with an overall assessment of the 2024–2025 academic year.

Additionally, decisions and process management outcomes from meetings held between Bartın Vocational School and the Chamber of Commerce within the scope of cooperation between vocational schools and the Union of Chambers and Commodity Exchanges of Türkiye (TOBB) were presented. It was also noted that curriculum revisions, based on feedback from internal and external stakeholders within quality and accreditation processes, have begun to be implemented.

The meeting emphasized the importance of external stakeholders’ input, particularly regarding expectations about graduate profiles and internship processes. It was stated that stakeholder feedback would serve as a key input for curriculum development and would be carefully monitored within the framework of the PDCA (Plan–Do–Check–Act) cycle.

The meeting concluded with mutual exchange of ideas among participants and best wishes for a productive 2025–2026 academic year. Assoc. Prof. Dr. Ramazan Arslan thanked all stakeholders for their participation and expressed that collaboration would continue to strengthen in the future.
