Internal Transfer Applications for International Students Enrolled in Associate and Undergraduate Programs at Our University

Regulation

In accordance with Article 16 of the Bartın University Directive on the Admission and Registration Principles of International Students:

“Daytime education students (excluding Turkish Preparatory) may transfer once to a department of their choice in the Fall or Spring semester within the first two semesters of their program, provided that there is available quota and approval from the academic unit’s executive board, no later than the add-drop week following the start of courses.”

“For students granted the right of internal transfer under this directive, their placement score or diploma grade (depending on the admission type) must not be lower than the minimum placement score or diploma grade of the last admitted international student to the relevant program.”

Internal Transfer Application Dates for International Students

  • Application Dates: January 30 – February 8, 2026
  • Evaluation of Applications: February 9 – 11, 2026
  • Announcement of Results: February 13, 2026 (via the Student Affairs Office website)
  • Student Registration: February 16–17, 2026 (at the Student Affairs Office Ağdacı Campus Branch)
  • Course Registration: February 18, 2026

Required Documents for Application

  1. Certificate of Active Student Status
  2. Original diploma and transcript, along with officially approved Turkish translations by a Turkish Representation Office
  3. Diploma Equivalency Certificate
  4. Internal Transfer Application Form for International Students (available in the application system)

Notes

  • International students whose transfer applications are accepted must pay any difference in tuition fees for the new program. If the fee difference is not paid, course registration will not be completed.
  • Only programs with available quotas will be open in the application system. Programs not listed do not have available quotas.
